This is like asking where the beginning or end of a circle is. Space is governed by what Einstein called the "fabric of space" It is shaped by gravity and is like 3-dimensional graph paper. Since the U (universe) has all the mass, it is possible that the fabric of space curves back into the U itself...as the gravity curves the threads in the "fabric". Therefore, as you tried to exit the universe, you would merely be re-entering it, even though you thought you were going in a straight line (because light travels along the "threads" too, a light beam appearing to go straight really isn't). So, like the circle, we are all caught in this loop that has no beginning or end.

A rough estimate of the size of the universe is its age (about 13.7 billion years) times the speed of light.

So 13.7 billion light years is a rough guesstimate.
