I believe you do -b/2a which is -1 i think, thats x. then you plug it back in to get y, so you have -1
if i can do math in my head than , the axis of symmetry is -1,-1

or x=-1

Write it as y=-(x^2+2x+1)=-(x+1)^2
If you change x+1 into -x-1 the value of y does not change so x=-1 is the axis of symmetry

i'm undecided, yet here is going not something! Given : x+a million over 2 (fraction) minus y-a million over 3 (fraction) = a million Given : y = 2x-a million answer : [(x+a million)/2] - [(y-a million)/3] = a million < multiply the two factors via 6 (2x3) then it is going to strengthen into : 3(x+a million) - 2(y-a million) = 6 distribute, making it : 3x+3 - 2y +2 = 6 3x -2y +5 = 6 3x-2y = 6-5 3x-2y = a million then going lower back to the given : y = 2x-a million, make it in the kind ax+via=c >> -2x + y = -a million via structures: 3x - 2y = a million -2x + y = -a million multiply the -2x+y= -a million via 2 so as which you would be able to cancel out y, making it -4x + 2y = -2 3x - 2y = a million -4x + 2y = -2 resolve it via addition : the respond is: -x = -a million, it is likewise equivalent to : x=a million given : y = 2x-a million, y = 2(a million) - a million = a million. y = a million solutions : x = a million, y = a million or {a million,a million} desire im top
