A good middle class income in this day in time would be about $75,000 per couple, per year. Of course as the couple grew, the income would need to as well.
If a person can earn $38,000.00 per year, they can meet their needs. This is not to say they drive the big fancy SUV's, go on month long vacations, and eat caviar.....38K provides a modest lifestyle IF the person manages their budget.

Id say from 18-80K Income range.
Middle class.

$ 60-70M.
Hardly enough for a luxurious life, but after the mortgage and groceries, would leave enough fora few luxuries.
