It depends on what the truth was in that particular case. In my world, honesty is always the best policy, it makes things so much less complicated. The truth hurts sometimes, but I think people respect you more as a person, if you tell em' like it is, every once in a while. I learned a long time ago, you can't be afraid to piss someone off in this world.

If I were asked a question regarding the matter by this person , then I would tell regardless of the outcome unless I didn't feel it their business to know or if the informations disclosure would only hurt and be of no other value to the person . I keep very few secrets and if I do it's written all over my face so I always try to avoid not telling the truth , I'm no good a lying and it is wrong .

Only if they needed the truth to make an important decision or to get rid of a cheating boyfriend. Otherwise, I would not hurt them because we could hurt anyone we wanted to that way.
