The Acura TSX will provide much more luxury features and is based on the European Honda Accord and is built in Japan. The Honda Civic made in Canada was all new last year and is a fine automobile, but will not have the luxury feel of the Acura. They are about $8000 difference in price, so your budget will give you some insight. The Honda Accord made in Ohio is a better comparison to the TSX. You can get a 4 cylinder or V6 version depending on your price range. You might want to wait till fall when the All New 2008 Honda Accord comes out, it is a very good looking car! It will be available in coupe and 4 door designs

It all depends upon what you want to spend the TSX is actually bigger, bigger engine and nearly 10k more money. As with a Lexus VS. Toyota, Acura is Honda's luxury division. Acura does not exist outside of the US. The TsX worldwide is the Accord. Our Accord is not sold overseas. By the way the Civic is the old Integra and it does not have more room that a TSX, The TSX IS the Accord in a luxury version

The TSX & the Civic are built around to differing platforms, the former (as mentioned) around the European Accord, the latter around Honda's subcompact offering.

The TSX compares more closely with the US market Accord, the EX V6 being its closet rival. The TSX represents Honda's (Acura) best balanced front wheel drive sedan to date. In contrast, the Civic EX is an upscale compact...smaller all the around when compared to the TSX. The TSX when compared to a Civic EX will be better appointed, will handle better, accelerate better, corner better, brake & maneuver better. All of this is accounted for by roughly a $12K cost difference.

Honda Civic EX is better because the Acura TSX has little rear legroom and has about the same acceleration as the Honda Civic EX. The Honda Civic EX also has outstanding fuel economy, 30 MPG in the city and 40 MPG on the highway.

Acura TSX by far. They are not even in the same category. The TSX costs double what a civic costs.

The Acura TSX is better without a doubt. Its of higher status and is much nicer than a Civic. That's just my personal opinion though.

I consider the previous answer from carlos. i might get the Honda Civic. you're procuring the call Acura. I guess you the coverage for TSX is bigger than the Civic. I used to very own an Integra, the predecessor of TSX, and it costed a fortune to insure.

The Acura by name is generally a better car, and by better I mean it's a premium version of a Honda. (Both are made by Honda)

If long term cost of repairs and gas savings are what you're into, the Honda will probably win out. If it's luxury your looking for, then the Acura is the way to go.
