Marry a Japanese citizen. Be born from Japanese citizens.

Aside from that, most foreigners must secure a job in Japan. Depending on what job they get and what the agreement is with the company, they could remain in Japan or be sent back to their home country. Becoming a citizen of Japan is more difficult than most people imagine.

Getting married to a Japanese citizen does not give you citizenship.

you'll legally be able to live there, but socially I don't think you could ever be considered Japaneses. Nor would your kids.
