It is terribly conceited for the human race to think that IT could be the only intelligent life in the universe.

first place nothing travels faster than light, and the closest star is still many light years away, but then you have to find a star system that has a planet or planets that is/are habitable and can sustain life, then the star has to be a certain type, very unlikely don't get ur hopes up LOL

better chance at seeing the "Easter Bunny"

in other words, highly unlikely any other life form is going to come harm us or save us (more likely a space object on collision course with us might harm us), i'd worry more about the humans right here, you gotta do it yourself

There is likely intellegent life on other planets, but we on earth are the aliens

maybe far away maybe close but not harmful because they would have attacked already. And planes could be ufo's because if aliens are smart enough to build a machine that hovers then they are smart enough to build a cloaking device...well maybe not really but it makes you think...

That is possible. That is even probably. But we have no proof. At least not yet.
