With so many sweaty, muscle-bound, and testosterone-driven males dominating the ring, the WWE execs have to somehow maintain a balance. This is where the WWE Divas come in. The Divas provide an extra incentive (in the form of "T and A" of course) to fans--especially male fans--to keep them entertained both in between and during matches. To a long-time fan like myself, this is a relatively new tactic employed by WWE. Back-in-the-day, female wrestlers and even female managers were given a lot more respect in the ring, received more ring time (yet still significantly less than their male counterparts), and took part in "productive matches" (in other words, they participated in matches that involved more than them just getting half naked). Now, they are just eye candy.

Can A.J. Lee and Kaitlyn fill the void now that Melina and Gail Kim are both gone from World Wrestling Entertainment maybe in 1-2 years perhaps not now. WWE lost it's prominence with the women's division when they retired the wwe women's title in May 2010 think about it the Women's Championship was the oldest belt in Wwe history for the females and they deactivated the championship now the only belt being recognized is the Wwe Divas Championship. Do I care about the Divas in the WWE? Yes, I do however, it's up to the WWE to improve that division they haven't been doing a good job lately. WWE has a lots of promising talent in FCW big indy stars like Tyler Black, Jon Moxley, Alex Koslov and currently active there on the roster Cm Punk and Bryan Danielson. If they wants to "improve" that Divas then they have to focus the attention on rebuilding the women's division sign a few top indy stars from Shimmer Sara Del Rey, Cheerleader Melissa, MsChif, Hamada or somebody, the WWE needs to make an effort to improve their women's division. WQ:) Well it's obvious Gail Kim wasn't happy with her current status in the WWE for instance take what happen this past Monday Night in the Divas Battle Royal in that match Gail Kim practically eliminated herself from the match that's pitiful and I really liked Gail Kim she was always one of my favorites however, they were not using her talents the right way and she was rarely seen on television so, she was planning on leaving in November when her contract expired I guess she decided to leave a little bit early before her contract actually expired I hope Gail goes to TNA.

No Orton is NOT going to be #1 contender. Edge is going to mess up the match causing a Fatal-4-Way at Backlash for the WWE Title. (Which he is scheduled to win)
