One million is a nice comfy amount but not enough to retire on, by the time u have bought the house u want, the car ,the holiday and even treated the family to a big party there would not be enough l change left to live off for the rest of Ur life but it would most definatly make a small change in my life.

I have no idea how much a pound is but if it is like a dollar it sure as heck wouldn't have to be anywhere near a million, if I won 50,000 dollars or ever 10,000 dollars I would so quit. My job sucks.

A million pounds is worth more than a million dollars... but no i wouldn't i'd invest it wisely and make it work for me... perhaps my job eventually would be to manage my assets and properties. But it's still a job and full time one at that.

I wouldn't even resign. Why would I even need a reference letter from them? Who cares if I burn a bridge? I'd just come in one day, pack up and walk out. Not say a word to anyone.
