The first dance I went to I was a freshman and it didn't go good because the guy I bought the ticket for didn't even show up . I was in tears. one of my friends told me don't listen to them there "jerks". the next dance was a lot of fun I had guys coming up and dancing wright behind me. It was awsome.

When I was of the age my parents thought was permissible to attend dances, I didn't really want to go. I was almost 17 before I attended my first dance. And that was the Prom. I think I went to one "Sadie Hawkins" dance and all the girls did was sit against the wall and watch all the cool kids dance. I loved to dance but unless it was a 'church function', I wasn't allowed.

I used to when I was in high school. Lots of fun. Don't worry about not having a date, just go with the girls and have a blast

I'm not in to dancing any more I guess I grew out of it. I think that school dances are boring. I even skipped my Senior prom this year because of the fact that I don't care about it. I got asked out to prom and even won prom king but I didn't go so they had to vote for another prom king.

That's such a sad story...... I'm glad it turned out better for you though. I used to DJ my High School dances, & usually had a good time, I was never very good with the ladies though. Come to think of I'm still not!

of course i go to school dances,, and i go to student hosted dances at clubs too.. I love to dance -- and i get guyz dancing right behind me too - caused a barfight once. jaja.. and ur friend was right, they are jerks, well most of em. I got stood up by a guy at my winter formal this year.. he askd me to go with him .. and then went to a club instead - i calld my bf4e in middle skul and told her to come up.. we had a great time - dances wit guyz r fun . but dancin wit ur babes is way betta

I went to pretty much all of the dances in junior high...only went to proms in high school.

i was always the life of the party at school dances. and the quiet type at school. around the time of my junior year they started to suck cuz people stopped going. i guess it was uncool. i said f them.....I'm going to have a good time and i always did. if you think you will have a good time then you will.
