I am the star player on the girls water polo team and I play like the whole game when others who aren't as good sometimes don't play at all. I never brag or anything, but I want to keep close relationships with my teammates. But I have a feeling that me always playing has an affect on my teammates. What can I do or act to change this?

refuse to play the entire game....to let the other girls have a chance to play...it's not all about winning you might want to remind your coach about that

not necessarily during games but espescially during practice help them and teach them what to do. During a game be sure to pass it around and try to keep everyone involved in the game. Finally if sy you are winning big in a game (or looseing big as the case may be) allow yourself or voulnteer yourself to be pulled out of the game to allow other players expirence in the pool.

Make sure you are encouraging and not a ball hog during games and practice. Help them without belittling and always be positive. Don't act like a know it all and don't be a *****. Always congratulate them and just be nice. It's the nice people who finish first!
