Is it possible for a womens nipples to be sore and not be pregnant?

I have gained like 15 pounds in the last 6 mos. I have taken pregnancy test, that come back negative don't have morning sickness or anything. I'm curious to know is it normal to have breast tenderness and not be pregnant. I know my breast have grown, but I thought it was due to my weight gain. At the same time they shouldn't be sore at the nipple

Chances are your hormones are crazy.

My breasts and nipples were always sore due to different reasons--sometimes because the cold, hormones, and yes pregnancy.

Chances are you aren't pregnant. Are you on a birth control or anything?

I'm guessing that your hormones are just going crazy right now. If it's bothering you, see your OB/GYN.

alot of women get sore boobs when they get their period, or a few dyas before. if you are still a teenager, your body is still changing and growing and you may have different symptoms every month with your period. if you think you might be pregnant, you should go to the doctors for a blood test, they are more accurate than home tests.
