My girlfiend of almost 2 years is moving from baton rouge to d.c today to start her new job next week. I dont want her to leave but I understand its to start her career out of college. I want to do something special for her but dont have the dough! How do I show her that I love her and that she will be missed?

My husband has a neat idea. If you have just a one dollar bill, rip it in half and put one half in a card (that you could make yourself), and write that this half of the dollar is yours, and I will keep the other. When we can be together again, we'll tape the dollar back together and frame it and it will be our first dollar we have together. (You can probably phrase it better.)

It's kind of cheesy, but I think it's cute.

Do all of her laundry and iron her work clothes. She'll have a lot to do so any help would show her you love her. Give her massages and back rubs, draw a bubble bath for her, pamper her-it doesn't take money to show how much you love someone. Cook for her. Make sure her car is washed and working all right.

It's nice outside right now so grab some candles, pack a picnic and take her somewhere romantic outdoors. You can do the cheezy pick her some wildflowers and put them in her hair when you're out there. It's cheezy as h$ll but she'll love it.

She'll miss you too so why not make it a point to try to call often. You can do it for free via Skype computer-to-computer if you both have the program installed. (You can also use Yahoo Messenger, etc.) Save your money so you'll be able to visit her or send her tix to visit you when she has a long week-end.

Good luck!

Take her for a nice walk in the park, call her on the telephone, or go and spend time with her., and also write her a letter from your heart to give to her.

Invite her over for dinner and present her with either a poem that you've written for her or one that you found that really nails how you feel about her.
