Ans
A fraction has two parts-Numerator and Dinominator
Ex:Consider 3/4
Here 3is the Nr.
4 is the Dr.
A fraction is ivided into 3
1.Simple fraction:Nr
Ex:1/2,5/7,99/999 etc
2.Improper fraction:Nr>Dr
Ex.3/2,4/3,27/3 etc
and 3.Mixture fraction:An integer+proper fraction
Ex.3.1/2,5.2/3etc
Now over to your problem:
5%=5/100=1/20, a proper fraction
Multiply Nr and Dr with 2,3,4.......n you get the fractions = to 5%
Its general form is n/20n where n=1,2,3........
Ex:1.
To find the 40% of 600?

=60*40
=240
Ex;2
40% of a number is 240, find the number?
Ans:
Given
40% of a number is=240
That is,
Numeber*40%=240
Number*40/100=240
Multiplying throughout with 100 we get,
Number*40=240*100
Therefore,
Number=(240*100)/40
=24000/40
=600
This way you can do more problems
Good Luck

5/100 = 1/20 = 10/200 (and other multiples)
to find percentages just divide the nominator by the denominator and multiply by 100.
e.g. 5/100
5 is the moninator
100 the denominator
5/100 x 100 = 5%

Just remember that % means hundredths.
So 5% is 5/100.
You can change 5/100 into other equal fractions by reducing or by multiply the top and bottom by the same number.
5/100=1/20 (If you divide top and bottom both by 5).
5/100=10/200 (If you multiply top and bottom both by 2).
5/100=15/300 (If you multiply by 3/3). and so on.
