I got the shot less than two months ago and I have had continuous bleeding for over two weeks. Its very light but I can still see it on my underwear and I have no cramps. I was just wondering if it would ever stop and if there is anything I can do to make it go away. Such as taking Vitamins. I also drink very little water and way too much soda. Does that have anything to do with it?

Oh lord, I was on depo, for one shot, and hated it, the side effects are crazy, and made me think I was pregnant. Now, I'm trying to get off of it, and wow!!!!! I don't know what was worse being on it or trying to get off of it. I have been cramping and spotting for a month. Depo is just horrible for a lot of people, and good for that fortunate few. The side effects should go away, but it is all if you can handle the craziness until it settles in your body. Here, let's take a poll. I'll ask the question on here. I'll let you know, I am so against it, but good luck if you can get through the bad.

I've taken Depo Provera and I had the opposite problem. I didn't have a period the entire time.

That being said, drinking water and soda really have nothing to do with it. But you may have continuous bleeding for weeks to months.

Oh I hated the Depo shot! I was bleeding for 13 weeks. There isn't anything you can do to stop it. It will stop eventually though. If you continue to get the shot you run the risk of continued bleeding. Try the Nuva Ring next time. It's awesome.

talk to the doctor...it might be a side effect. I never bled...but my sis did the entire time...she had to stop the shot b/c of it.

they do warn you that you can have an erratic period or no period at all with that drug. I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you. Did you ask your physician?
