As a tax payer do you really agree with how the government is spending your money these days, Congress does seem to event have a handle on where the money goes. The US is paying 16% of multinational corporate expansion (Does not benifit the US worker or consumer very much) What are your thoughts?

It doesn't matter if we AGREE with it, not at all, because the point is that we have the chance to change the tax system every single time we go to the polls and vote. If we don't like things the way they are, we can change the Representatives we have. That's what a republican system of government is all about.

Taxation without representation doesn't really apply here. The colonists were made to pay taxes for issues they had no say in and were not able to enjoy the benefits of. We, however, have the right to vote and therefore are represented. For the record, I do agree with you. That's why I try to stay abreast of the stance of the congress members I vote for and pray that they stick to those issues. Unfortunately, there are a myriad of things people will say to secure their votes and not all of them are sincere.

The US does have taxation with representation. So, you can't tie that to the way the money is spent. You can kick the big business, big money people out by voting against them in the forthcoming election.

i say, if you dont appreciate the gov't and what they are doing for you, leave. find a better one. sure as hell can't make your own. if that doesnt suffice, try for change. just don't be a jerk about it. your rights to voice your opinion are respected, within reason. chances are, though, that the gov't is too strong for any one person to change

You have representatives in your state government AND at the federal level.

Vote or quit complaining.
