The Holocaust proponents claims an act of genocide against the people of the Jewish faith. The intentional elimination of a race or ethnic group through mass murder (Judaism is not a race nor an ethnic group but a religion).
The Holocaust deniers claim that there exists no written documentation ordering the specific annhiliation of the Jews. And all those photographs of Jews who perished in the concentration camps died of typhus or cholera.
The Holocaust deniers point out that there exists no photographic or documentary evidence of Jews being 'gassed' to death on purpose or burned to death alive in ovens. The so-called poison gas used was Cyclon B, a standard delousing agent used on the German soldiers in WWI and on P.O.W.s. The Holocaust deniers claim that the gas chambers were in fact delousing stations and people died inside the chambers as a result of panic and riot.
The Holocaust deniers state that the photographs of dead Jews being put into ovens was a standard procedure for the typhus and cholera dead bodies, to prevent the spread of these and other diseases. Typhus and cholera dead have been burned rather than buried for centuries. They claim there is no documentary evidence of anyone being put into ovens alive.
The Holocaust deniers attack the figure of SIX MILLION Jews killed (a total of nine million people perished in the concentration camps). They claim the figure is much smaller, only in the hundreds of thousands, and they were not killed on purpose, but died from disease and other work or unhygenic causes. The Holocaust deniers point out that even the Simon Wiesenthal center is equivocal about the actual number of Jews who perished.
A total of Nine million people perished in the Nazi concentrations camps: the first Jews to go to the camps was in late 1943. The communists went to the camps in 1936. The Holocaust deniers claim that it was impossible to kill six million Jews using the methods claimed in such a short period of time, since it wasn't just Jews who perished in the camps, that would increase the volume of people systematically executed.
The Holocaust deniers claim that there was no intentional extermination of the Jews; that all the dead from the concentration camp photos and documentaries was the result of disease, overwork, or poor conditions; that Cyclon B is not a poison gas but a delousing agent; that it was impossible to kill six million people using the methods claimed (gas chambers, ovens, etc.) in less than two years; and that the six million figure is highly inflated and cannot be substantiated.
The Holocaust deniers are not so much saying the deaths in the Nazi concentration camps did not happen, but those deaths were not intentional and the numbers are highly exaggerated as a war reparation.

The two basic types of evidence they use (by the way, almost no one suggests there was no Holocaust, what they suggest is that it wasn't nearly as large as the 6 million people that has become the traditional number). First, the argument is, and I do not agree with it, but this is their argument, that there just simply weren't' six million Jews to start with, so they could not have been killed. Years ago the number was 2-6 million, and the argument is that the six million number is just not numerically and demographically supportable.
The other argument is that there isn't enough archaeologically evidence. Even the furnaces at Aushwitz have been dated to a period of time that is post WW II. However, it's tough to have specific evidence when it has all be intentionally destroyed.

I'm not an expert on this but I do know that their was a popular historical trend of thought a few years ago that suggested there was no holocaust.
There's been a lot of debate over what kind of leader Hitler was and whether he was aware of some of the policies e.g the euthanasia policy that were in force and that he abolished them when he discovered them. As a very lazy leader I think it has been suggested that he had nothing/ little to do with it.
Equally there has been a debate that the holocaust was nothing out of the ordinary because people who follow the Jewish faith have allegedly been persecuted since the medieval period onwards.
I'm sorry I can't suggest any books/ sites - it's not my area but I hope this helps.

The Jews did not suffer in Germany because there was no Holocaust. Actually it was the Jews that was torturing the poor blond haired deprived Germans. Those tattoos on the Jews arms and hands that are still alive today (by the grace of God) are really there because they want to be hip.
OTHER CONSPIRACIES TO THINK ABOUT:
1. We knew the Japanese were going to bomb Pearl Harbor before they did. I mean come-on President Roosevelt liked the thought of our boys baking inside the Battle Ship Arizona before they died. The President was looking for a better way to get a good nights sleep.
2. America did not land on the Moon. We payed billions of dollars for the 360 foot Saturn 5 rocket so we could look at it and say wow that is a big rocket. We kept approx. 400,000 technicians, scientists and construction contractors quiet, with zero leaks to the public. The rocks that we thought that came from moon and have proved to be from the moon are really from the Pacific Ocean.
3. The Mafia whacked JFK, via the Russian connection, via the Cuban connection.... The man on the grassy knoll was a CIA agent acting on orders from Giancana from Chicago and Marcello from New Orleans, with duplicity from Castro and Kruschev....true story.
4. Aliens landed in Roswell and we transported them to Area 51 to back engineer their technology, where do you think the stealth air craft came from? Again, we kept it secret by brain washing the thousands of workers who were in on the scam.
5. The Moon we see every night is really not there along with the planets, stars as well as the Planet Killing Asteroids. Those were put there by the evil United States to toy with our minds.
6. The fossils of homo eructus, neandertals and 15 other hominids that are extinct were put there by paleotologists, archeologists, and assorted rock hounds to enhance their careers. Creationism is the only reality.
7. America is a conspiracy and is a fake country and none of us Americans really live here.
8. I was never born so this response to your question is a fake.

These ideas are completely stupid, not to mention disrespectful & insensitive to the victims & families of those who suffered throughout the holocaust.
The people who think like this are extremists, neo-nazis. They have obviously been 'brain-washed' by a cult of sorts. But even during the 1940's the rest of the world were oblivious to the happenings of the holocaust.. or maybe they refused to believe what was happening. It is of close comparason to the Guantanimo Bay issue.
Im afraid I have no experiences or evidence to back up my opinion, but I strongly reccomend you visit some 'neo-nazi' sites (found using search engine). Its really frightening to see their opinions. It may give you some insight their warped ideas!
Good luck with the research!
