I know that death is likely at .4 and above. If anyone knows an exact figure, could you also let me know the source you got it from? Thanks!

i have performed blood alcohols on patients at the 0.6 range before, and they are still combative. these would be hard-core alcoholics with a high tolerance to alcohol. normal people would become comatose at around 0.4. i can't recall ever seeing one above 0.7 on anyone who was still living, so my guess would be anything around 0.7.

I don't believe there is a set number. Everything depends on the person and the circumstances. Like many other things, there is no set limit. Holding your breath for 60 secs may kill someone, but everynow and then someone else is able to hold their breath longer.

There really isn't any "exact" answer for this. Every "body" is built differently, and can handle different amounts. What your body can handle may be more or less than the next person. The answer? It varies.
