1) Points A, B, C are on a line in the order ABC. What can be said about the distance AC (a) in relation to the distance AB? (b) in relation to the distances AB, BC?
2) A, B, C are points with B not on the line AC. What can be said about the distance AC in relation to the distances AB, BC?
3) Point P is in the interior of angle XOY. Does the ray with end point O and containing P lie completely in the interior of angle XOY?
4) Ray OP is in the interior of angle XOY. What can be said about angle XOY (a) in relation to angle XOP? (b) in relation to angle XOP and angle POY?
5) (a) If angle XOY is divided into two equal angles by the ray OP, what is the name given to OP? (b) If OP is the bisector of angle XOY, what is the relationship of angle XOP to angle POY?
6) How many planes are there which contain a given line i.
7) Is it true, without exception, that if P, Q, R are points contained by plane X and also by plane Y, then X is the same plane as Y?

1) AC is greater than AB. AB + BC = AC.
2) AC is less than the sum of AB and BC.
3) Yes.
4) XOY is larger than XOP. XOP + POY = XOY
5) Bisector. XOP = POY
6) An infinite number.
7) No. If P, Q, and R are all points along a line, then there are an infinite number of planes which may contain them all. Three NONLINEAR points define a unique plane.
