#1 the prophecy said one will die at the hand of the other. So I highly doubt they will both die. Unless one kills one and then the other dies for some other reason. But i doubt it.
#2 there is no way Harry (or his scar!) is a Horcrux. Voldemort would not have inadvertantly or accidentally made him into a horcrux becuase you need to recite a certain spell to put your soul into one. His soul wouldn't have accidentally flown into Harry. And he certainly would not have intentionally made a boy into a horcrux. Besides the fact that voldemort has been trying to kill him for 16 years, it would be silly to put a bit of soul into a living being. A horcrux has to keep the soul safe for all time. No living being lives forever and all have the potential to die at anytime. I don't think the soul could be contained if the being dies, as once the body decomposes there will be nothing left for the soul to reside in. Nagini could be an acception because Voldemort keeps an exceptionally close eye on her and has complete control over her.
#3 JK Rowling has said repeatedly that Dumbledore is dead and is not coming back. He may help through his portrait or something of that sort, but he will not physically return. He is not Gandalf, as much as people would like to believe he is.
P.S. I'm pretty sure I read a statement from JK Rowling insisting that Harry is not a horcrux, but i can't remember where.

I think you're a bit confused. In the last book (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) Harry realizes that he must die in order for Voldemort to become mortal because as you said, Harry is the last horcrux. A piece of Voldemort became a part of Harry accidentally on the night Voldemort killed Harry's parents. And again, you are right. The only way in which Voldemort can be defeated is if Harry himself dies, killing the peice of Voldemrot that resides inside of him. As to your further question, Dumbledore does not come back. Dumbledore personally explains to Harry in the Goblet of Fire that there is no way to bring back the dead. However, Harry and Dumbledore do meet again after Harry chooses to let Voldemort kill him in some sort of a heaven that takes the shape of King's Cross station. I suggest reading the last book, and the whole series is you haven't. The last book will most likely answer all your questions!

No i dont think he will die because the person at scholastic who spoiled half blood prince for us all a few years ago (this is in the US not the UK) has read the 7th book and was answering questions and some1 asked him is the last word scar and he said yes. and since the last word is scar I think he will live since the last chapter is supposed to be an epilogue on who lives.
Also I disagree with the theory of harry or his scar being a horcrux. Why you may ask, because If harry is a horcrux and kills himself then who will kill voldemort? I dont think anyone but Harry can kill voldemort because part of theprophecy is “The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches ..." That means that Harry is the only one that can kill Voldemort but if he kills himself before then he cant kill Voldemort, but I might be wrong. I guess we'll all wait have to wait for July 21st (you guys are lucky cause you get to read it before me because of the time difference)

I have one slight problem with Haryy being a horcrux (well 2 actually)
1. If part of Tom Riddles sole resides in Harry then why has Voledemort spent the last six books trying to kill him, surely that would mean the horcrux dies and therefore part of voledemorts own sole dies.
but also
2. Voldemort had no idea that Harry would survive the killing curse, according to the goblet of fire, in the graveyard scene, voledemort states that he knows how Harry survived - Lilies love saved him, but there was no way he could have known that was going to happen so would not have been suitably prepared to make his last horcrux out of harry before he died.

I think that the writer Rowling will do win the good.... So, also Harry Potter will die, will win however the good... Maybe, for me, Harry will die, because you're right, when Voledemort tried to kill him has maked a new Horcrux....
I don't know really... I think often to how will end the Harry Potter History, but I don't know....
Bye

Firstly JK has said Dumbledore will not return (she was very clear about that saying he won't "do a Gandalf"). She said she wants Harry to be by himself to defeat Voldemort, not have someone else jump in at the last moment. At most he will guide/advise Harry from his portrait in the headmaster's office.
Secondly all JK has revealed about Harry dying is that she can understand the mentality of some authors killing off their leads as it stops people from trying to cash in on her work (which she'd hate), she has also refused to answer questions about Harry's future and has said he may not grow up. Some people see hints that she said she'd invite the trio from the books if she could have a dinner with anyone, that it means Harry won't die.

I had a similar deduction but later found it to be false. Harry is NOT the last horcrux. I had predicted that since it was hinted that Neville was the chosen one, that if Harry was a horcrux, then Neville would be the one to destory him.
I really hope Harry doesn't die, but it would make it easier to keep others from writing HP books other than Rowling.

You people have such simple answers. And Harry couldn't be a Horcrux because why would Voldemort want to kill his own Horcrux? Answer that. Dumbledore is dead. The end.

I really hope not, but I suppose it would be a good way to end the series 'cause some twit sometime could make like the eighth book, if they did a Dallas, "and then Harry woke up in the shower, it was all a dream..." Which nobody would do, because they wouldn't want to be knocked over by millions of angry Potter fans. lol . Anyways, I really Hope that she wont kill him off...
Heres hopin she wont...

No. He will not.
Even if Harry did contain a horcrux, there would probably be some way to destroy the horcrux without actually killing HIM.
Pettigrew has a life debt toward Harry, so he'd probably be the one to show him how destroy it...
But I don't think he'll be a horcrux. I'm thinking it's Nagini. Maybe...Oh, I don't know!! D=
