I was sick on Easter, so I was not able to go with my husband to my in-laws. They had a big chocolate bunny and ate most of it, but decided to save the head of it for me.
Have you ever received such a present?
They weren't trying to be funny; they wanted to share Easter with me somehow, I guess this was their way!

I've never received a gift like that.
Although I would prefer receiving my own personal chocolate bunny for Easter, chocolate is chocolate and as long as there were no actual teeth marks on the gnawed off head I would have just laughed and enjoyed it.
Did it have those colored sugary eyes too? If it did and they gave them to you then you got the lion's share of the rabbit. ;)

I don't know, I think that maybe it was a sign, but only you know what kind of people they are maybe it was a genuine gift. just call them and thank them, try to get back on their good side. I've never received a gift like that, but my children got chocolate bunnies for Easter and they ate the rest of the bunny except for the head so it probably isn't nothing, but i usually eat the head first then the body.

Heh,heh....thats twisted. It certainally is an interesting way to share Easter with someone, thats for sure.
Well...look at it this way dear. Better to receive a gnawed on chocolate bunny head than a shruken one. Now THAT would send a message wouldn't it?

Guess that was their way of including you when you couldn't be there. Let it go, not worth trying to figure it out, sometimes you just gotta say oh well, toss the bunny head and go on. Look at it this way, at least they are sorta interesting, good story to tell your friends when you are all talking about in laws.
