Yes! Excellent movie! IT's the autobiography of poet/writer/singer Jim Carroll. Leonardo plays Jim Carroll and the movie tells the story of Jim's teenage years when he blew a basketball scholarship because he got involved in heroine addiction. This is a really inspiring tale. The real Jim Carroll has a cameo as the guy 'Leo' is talking to near the end sitting around the campfire! :-)

Powerful film...and the soundtrack is on of my all-time favorites. It is most definitely a "sad" film, but ultimately, it is a story of redemption and second chances.
