It's scary, weird, fun and exciting all at the same time.
Each stage of pregnancy is different...in the first, you learn (the hard way) that your body is no longer just yours...you can't eat what you want, you feel sick for no reason and have all kinds of weird emotional reactions to things. In the second, you learn to love life again and love your baby, because you have lots of energy and start to feel him more around. In the third trimester you are reminded of three things: take care of yourself, enjoy pregnancy because it doesn't last forever, and get ready for the long trip ahead of parenthood.

I loved every minute of it. I loved seeing my bump growing and for everyone to see how big I was getting and I didn't care because I had a precious baby growing inside myself. I did get a little scared once he started growing though and thought how the hell is he going to come out without any pain and then I calmed myself down and thought well it is something I have to deal with!!! I loved the feel of him moving around and felt scared when I couldn't feel him. The sound of the first heartbeat is amazing and the first scan is so special - I will never forget it. The second scan was pretty amazing as well as they confirmed my predictation of the sex. The only downside for me was the fact that I was obviously pregnant and no one offering their seat on the tube or the bus, people pushing past me without a care in the world --- oh them leg cramps I used to get were painful but the rest of it was a positive experience and I am quite happy to do it all over again.

the physical part at first is like like normal theres no difference unless you get morning sickness ive heard thats horrible but i didnt have it when the baby starts to move thats when the rollercoaster ride begins you feel alien like cause theres something moving around and kicking at your belly as you get further along for some reason alot more senses kick in things start happening in your body that you cant explain but instead of being scared theres an excitement about it let me tell you being pregnant is scary, exciting , sad but most of all (especially when you meet your child) theres a fullfilment and a sense of peace that youve never and probably will never feel again until the next time you bring a child into the world just make sure you ARE ready for a child because that rollercoaster feeling happens for the rest of your life and youve got to have your feet on the ground to take the turns and keep yourself steady i hope that has helped

Well, Ive had 2 children(and one ectopic). With my first child I had morning sickness for 3 months and didnt care much for anything as i was sick all the time! I had sore breasts and headaches. Then I had my first scan at 12 weeks and it became more real and we realised there is a tiny being in there! When i had my first flutters at 16 weeks I got really excited, and when you really feel baby and eventually see baby moving around in your belly and kicking its weird but reassuring! Giving birth was painful but worth it. With our second, because I had an ecoptic in between, there were a lot more blood tests and scans and visits to the hospital-I had a 2 week scan which didnt show much at all but a micro 'blob'. However I didnt have any sickness, only cravings for bubble bath and doritos. Our second was a big baby and I was uncomfortable this time-couldnt drive, kept awake all night in discomfort, and eventually I had to have a c-section due to our daughters weight(12lbs)+.Its very hard to explain what it is like being pregnant..but its amazing, makes you speechless at times and its a wonderful gift to bring a life into this world.

If you can get over the back pain, rib pain, tummy pains, and waking up every 2 or 3 hours to go pee, its amazing. It feels so, for lack of a better word, awesome to have a little human being moving around and growing inside you. I almost wish men could get pregnant just to that they would stop aking me what it feels like to have the baby move.

It feels kind of like a muscal spasm. Thats the best way i can descibe it.

For the first few months, if you have morning sickness it's like you have a parasite that is sucking all of the life out of you. Once you get over that hump it is wonderful.

Personally, I enjoy the fact that I feel and look really feminine. People seem to be really nice to you when you are pregnant too.

Wonderful. Both inwardly for myself and outwardly as my pregnancy has given such joy to other people.

It's as though every day is Christmas. There is a sense of calm and quiet pride as I am so happy to be able to give my husband a son, my parents a grandson, and my brother a nephew. For me, it's a dream come true to be able to have a baby of my own, even more than for other women because I was told that I probably couldn't have children.

I've never been so happy.

Tiring for the first few months, even worse if you have morning sickness,i was lucky i didnt have that. Then when you start to feel the baby moving its great, but then it can be worrying when you dont feel them moving as much as they get bigger but thats just normal because they havent got alot of room to move around in. And i had terrible heartburn it used to make me sick it was that bad.
