I'm printing my own wedding invitations with my HP all in one inkjet printer and using MS Word. However, I'm having a very difficult time getting a clean print out on my small 4bar envelopes. They are 3.63 x 5.125. My address comes out centered and looks just how I want it to look but there is always a smudge, ink line, or ink dots somewhere on the envelope! It's getting very frustrating!

Asside from using labels or having them professionally printed, what can I do to stop this ink problem? I've already wasted 20 envelpes on mistakes and already have to buy more but would like to avoid making even more mistakes. Thankyou for any help you can offer!!

Printing on envelopes is a pain. I have given up on it and use labels instead.

With that said, wedding invitations should be hand-written. There is nothing personal about a printed label.
