Did you run a printhead clean?
Print nozzles cleaning?

If the nozzles are clogged, sit the cartridge in no more than 1/2 inch of very hot water for 10 minutes. Then try the cleaning processes.

Some stores sell a cleaning solution which you squirt into the nozzles.

Most newer hp printers require a new cartridge. The HP software looks for a code and if it has seen that code before it will not let the cartridge print. Plus even on older HP printers the refilling must be done before any of the ink drys out. Once the ink drys - fresh new ink cannot penetrate the reservoir and get to the jets. Some printers work great with refilled cartridges others don't.

i can in simple terms furnish a idea. It sounds to me like that colour cartridge is defective. in certain, it isn't "considered" via the printer. try a clean cartridge {and use a real HP cartridge fairly of a "third social gathering" style} and be conscious if that solves the priority.
