i have this friend who happen to be my seatmate since first year in college...then he admitted that he falls for me...since then i avoided him...but i was so guilty learning that he is very much affected and people around us really want to see me talking to him again...den i worked things out and start again w/ a friendship and we became much ok than b4...but now he's asking if he can court me & if he has a place in my heart...i said i do not allow suitors and my heart is not yet open to fall for someone...am i giving him false hope by being a nice friend to him...is it better if i will avoided him again and stop our friendship??? please help...i badly need some opinions...tnx...

if you want to be friends with him then you will but sometimes when you think you have it under control destiny turns it upside down.
Just tell him that you want to be friends but if he only wants to be more than friends well then sorry but he won't be your friend.
Try talking to him beforehand to create a better friendship then explain the issue.

Just tell him that you do not want to spoil your friendship by becoming lovers. If he does not take "no" for an answer then let what he says go through one ear and comes through the other (ignore him). Avoid being around him and he will get the message.

tell him straight up that you dont want to ruin your friendship that you value him as a friend and as of right now you are not looking for any relationships and you honestly dont know that if when you are ready for that that he will be the one you chose. just lay it out on the line for him n let him know that he basically can either keep being good friends or not. ask him what he wants out of it because if all he wants is to be in a romantic relationship with you then hes not really worth it unless of course thats something that you would be interested in in the future.

sit this friend down and talk openly and honestly..tell him that you would like to maintain and be a friend, but that is as far as your interest in him goes. That you are very uncomfortable with his attentions toward you, and it is interfering with the friendship. If he can accept that, and be a friend, then you have achieved a victory, If not, then for your peace of mind, you may have to move on.

It sounds like he's an all or nothing kind of guy. If you aren't truly interested in him, I'd say to have no contact with him. If you do and that leads him on and you aren't doing anything specific, then there's really nothing else you can do about it. He can either toughen up and move on or not.

Umm if your a female i would be friends but just watch your body language & clothes sense around him. Sorry to be blunt but you never know whats on peoples minds these days!
If you a fella still be friends but tell him friends or nothing.

well you shud tell him your srry but you arent ready for a relationship and will only remain friends if he can handle that. maybe you should help him find another girl or hook him up with one of your friends, but only do this if your positive you dont like him as more than a friend :) good luck

well thats hard but ok just follow ur heart coz if ur gonna give him hope but ur not still ready ur gonna hurt him but also urself because their is somethin inside of u that tells u ur not ready so just tell him that and most of all he must respect it no matter what

I think u should NOT avoid him because you need friends and u dont want to hert his fellings if you like him u should tell him but if you dont tell him that and just be friends. but if you say you just want to be friends and he would rather not be friends hes not even worth it!!!!!!!!!!!
