Did the other party specify they want it INLINE (i.e. in the body) or as an attachment?
If they didn't, I'd do BOTH
And send RTF. DOC is often rejected as a virus carrier.

Save the resume into a file you know how to get into. (My Documents or Desktop)
Then in your email, make a new email.
Type the email your sending to
Look for the Attach (sometimes called Attachments or Attach a file) and browse for the Resume
Type up a subject and SEND

scan it into a file on your computer and open it into your email...But it is much more impressive to a perspective boss to have a real "snail mail" resume. It shows you care enough about getting the job, to do the paper work. It is a sign of respect.
