What is awesome is that im a hardcore fan of USC and a loyal fan of Michigan haha. I will say that USC SHOULD win although anything could happen.
USC has so much talent that I am drooling to see how well our defense will perform next year.
Our D-line was mediocre last year, but with the strong emergence of Lo-Jack and Ellis both staying and maybe even Everson Griffen producing as a FR near the end of the year would make it devastating.
LB are by far the best in the country. Rivers, Maualuga, and Cushing should be able to surpass the combo of Posluszny and Connor.
For Secondary, which has usually always been a weak point in our defense is now looking like a strong point with now three near All-American safety's in Mays, Pinkard, and Ellison and strong showings with the Harris' combo at cornerback with one full year under their belt.
Offense at USC the weaker point?? This year I think it might. If there is any reason we will lose it will be because of offensive mishaps like turnovers or even the non-rythmic RB rotation. Booty has proved that big game situations he has composure but our anemic offense against UCLA will haunt me until I see them on the field next season. But look for RS FR David Ausberry as the next Jarrett, but better since hes had one yr of practice experience already. Also, the reemergence of the fullback in Stanley Havili will be the x factor in the running game (since last season 4 FB's went down last season leaving the running game vulnerable)

The two best teams that have a chance, are USC and Michigan. Even though Michigan lost, and lost all of there defenders, they still have probably the best offense in the nation with Henne, Hart, and especially Manningham. Mannigham has a good chance of winning the Heisman. And USC lost no one so they have a great chance.

You have your powerhouses like USC and Michigan. But, here is a dark horse once again.....West Virginia! Potential undefeated schedule and Heisman canidates in Pat White(QB) and Steve Slaton(RB). The only question mark for WVU is the young defense. But, while they are young, they still got alot of game experience. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say USC Trojans vs. WVU Mountaineers for all the marbles!!!!!

I like USC's chances. The defense should be stellar and all the reports are that the WR's corps have been reloaded. The spring game featured a young WR Patterson who scored 2 TDs'. You will probably hear his name alot the coming season.

Usc is astrong candidate and they will replace the receiver with the number high school receiving phenom Ronald Johnson out of MICHIGAN. They will be hard to beat and they may win the Nat. Champ. game over my beloved U of Michigan with the help of Ron Johnson... Hear that Coach Carr.

Oklahoma 34- Georgia 24. USC chokes on at least two PAC10 games (again) in addition to the Buckeyes loss.
