Where to take picture for U.S. A. passport?

Question

Does any one know which store still open after 6:00 P.M. near Riverhead, NY 11901 for taking ID pictures? I need 2 pictures for my U.S.A. passport application. They don't have that service in Walmart. Any recommendation???Please give me the address of the store and their phone number.

Sears
and AAA

Quick FYI -
All photos must be:
* 2x2 inches in size
* Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance
* Must be color photos
* Full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background
* Between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head
* Taken in normal street attire
* Uniforms should not be worn in photographs. If wearing headcovering daily for religious or medical reasons include a statement explaining that.
* Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
* If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.
* Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.

Go to the U.S. State Department web site (http://www.state.gov/) and do a word search for "passport." It'll give you the main page for passport information, and on that page is a link where you can type in your ZIP code and it'll list the closest passport centers, which are usually post offices. Read them closely -- they'll give you the hours of operation and will also indicate if they take photos on-site or if there's a place that takes photos nearby.

Did you go to K-mart? Some of them have those "self-photo booths." I don't know if that will be acceptable for your passport, you can try. Call Directory Assistance for the
K-mart near where you live.

Look in the Yellow pages under Passport Photos.
