is there a difference between the death penalty and marriage? the only difference i can think of is the death penalty is a lot less painul

FYI,
During the 1800's if a man was sentenced to be hung by the neck he could saved if a woman offered to marry him. The funny thing is some men actually turned down the marriage offer.

Im sorry you have had such bad exsperiences but marriage to the right person can be wonderful.It can bring lots of fun and excitement.It sounds like your bitter.The3 death penalty is diffently worse because at least in marriage there is sex!Two points

Agreed! The only difference is you have to commit a crime to get the death penalty whereas marriage is self-inflicted.

Bit of an attitude, eh, Phil?
Been happily married over 36 yrs. here.
Marriage aint rocket science. Most failed relationships are just because the couple didn't get to know each other first up front, and they didn't have enough emotional maturity or compromise to survive.
So, what's your alternative? A string of shallow relationships and casual sex? Fine, if that's what you want. Seems like a lot of needless head games to me, but to each their own.
I got all the good sex I can handle, not to mention a partner whose got my back, who's great in the kitchen, and who does my books and taxes. What's not to like about that?

The death penalty has a low repeat offender rate.
People sometimes get remarried.

If you look it that way, your marriage will exactly what you wish for. It takes 2 to work. You might be married a wrong woman or you just a self pity man who take blame on woman and cannot see anything wrong with yourselves. Does she happy with you ? If not that that a look hard on yourselves. Even a dog will be missurable if you do not look after it.

Your just not married to who you were ment to. I've been married 3 times and yes the 1st 2 were awful. One was a cheater the other a beater. But my 3 is some one who fell right out of my dreams he loves me and my kids. I'm sorry your having a bad one but it will be okay. I wish you the best.
