If a person was to travel backwards in time and somehow prevent his/ her parents from conceiving them, what do you think would happen to that person when they return to the current timeline?

Did you watch Back To The Future Trilogy? about the photograph? Do you remember?
Ok. I think it can't happen because if you're back in time and prevent what you say it means you were never born at all and as you were not born you can do nothing and what am i doing here talking with you if you don't exist?

That's a good question. In fact, it made me so curious that I decided to see what would happen...
As I type this, I'm returning from the 1960s (I asked my Dad for some change for a dollar - that resulted in my parents just not meeting each other for the first time at a party).
It's the 1980s now... the 1990s... 2007 is fast approaching, but I still can't see how this can possibly affect my exis

riddle me this. what if you traveled back in time and and prevented your parents from concieving you, then you wouldnt have been born in the first place and therefore you wouldnt be able to go back in time and do the thing you are theroizing about doing. hahahaha its a circular argument therefore the reasoning behind it is falacious. also think about this. if time travel were possible, where the hell are all the people from the future at?

We can't say.
Its a paradox. Its called the 'Gradfather paradox'. And there is a reason why its called a paradox.
The Grandfather paradox questions what would happen if someone travelled back in time and killed his/her grandfather before his/her father was born.
Well, its still not answered.
And time travel is not possible.
Time travel to the future is possible, but only in theory, not practically.
Time travel to the past is not possible. Not even theoretically.

Woa, talk about twilight zone of clever theory...
Guys I think its more on the "think out the box" situation...not take it literally.
Joe... 1st of all I wouldnt do that, I love my existence, but if i got high and did, who knows? I'd probably be born of some other couple that got hot that night or just cease to exist period, there and then. Maybe I'd find I was born later, maybe in another place to different folks or the same... etc
There seems many endless possibilites...but I shall opt for being born later (",)

First you would not only mess up your future you would mess up the future of many other things also. But really we will never know. Einstein believed that it is possible to travel back in time because it has already happened, so maybe it is possible maybe mot. I think that they wouldn't return to to future but they wouldn't fade into oblivion.

They would be able to stay up late at night.
They wouldn't have to go to school.
The could eat all kinds of candy all the time.
The wouldn't have to eat broccoli and other things that are good for them,they would have a ball.

You can't travel in time so this makes no sense. Anyways, the question has already been asked tons of times and there is no logical answer.
