I see post about Ted Kennedy for a 40 year old incident, about Congressman Byrd for a 50 year old mistake but when you point out far more recent unethical behaviour from their side they're mute WHAT GIVES?

I agree. The Teddy Kennedy incident has been resolved in court for over 40 years, now. Byrd has publicly stated that he deeply regrets his affiliation with the KKK and that it was a youthful mistake. Bill Clinton has publicly apologized and asked for forgiveness for a private affair, that was really nobody outside his family's business. Meanwhile George W and Laura Bush have gotten away with "youthful indiscretions" (DUIIs, fatalities, and drug use) which they have barely acknowledged and the public records of their crimes have have been swept under the carpet.

Isn't it strange that all the above came out in the papers and was read by millions, but very few could say whether those involved were republicans or democrats.
You have a knack for that, what the story ? If the story comes out that some bo-zo had sex with a twelve year old, what difference does it make which party he's registered with ?
I'm non-partisan so it makes no difference to me,but why do you have it all separated by political party ?
If a person robs a bank, do the newspapers have to say, " A republican robbed a bank ", or a democrat ?

I like mbush 40 above pretending that the Republicans got rid of Foley quickly,when in fact,the Republicans knew about him for well over a year and sat on the story.It was only when the whole thing became public knowledge that Foley resigned.

There is even a longer list of Democrats and one that Clinton pardoned for 7 child molesting charges including some that this man had been caught with male prostitutes. This isn't just a Republican or Democratic, or Catholic thing, it is happening on a grand scale with child porno being one of the top money makers. Truthsay, I don't think that is what he is saying at all. And truth be told, WHO GIVES A RATS *** about Teddy and his drinking? Is he getting the job done? Obviously the people in MA think so. I could NOT care less if Teddy drank himself into a stupor, but the day he starts molesting (if he does, which is highly unlikely) baby girls and boys WELL then we have a PROBLEM. I have no problem condemning those Republican but you are saying that no Democrat at the local level is guilty of any crime and the Dems mentioned in your post are at the national level thus more known by all of us, not some small local area you pull up in your details. But murder of a person no matter if it was 100 years ago is wrong so TK got away with this as he left someone to die. And racists do not change as we saw a few years ago when Byrd on national TV interview used the N word.

They have been the most corrupt Republicans and they still come back with, Bill Clinton lies . What Bill Clinton lied about was personal matter between him and his wife. The Republicans voting to impeach were all scandals cases , at least Bill Clinton was accused of used legal age women, not children. Republicans seem to prefer children , they will always come back with, "Bill Clinton Lied . I'll tell you one thing Clinton is not in the race with lies that George Bush has told that causes troops deaths by the thousands, maimed beyond recognition and all they have is Bill and you know Monica. Because that's all they got. They have to bring up old issues all the time. Bill Clinton is a prime example. They go on and on about his mutual affair with Monica, and how he lied, then they bash Hillary talking about how mean she is, if she is that mean, why do they wonder why Bill lied? There is hardly a day that goes by that there is not a scandal in the White House under this administration. Yet they choose to stick their head in the sand and ignore it. Good question.
