I don't think so....I think you just keep getting more points added because I've noticed at times when you run your cursor over peoples avatar that the little window appears with info about them like what level they are and if they are a top contributer and so on. Well in the little window I've noticed that some people have already reached the last level but they have ALOT of points.

Once you get to level 7 you just keep answering/asking questions and gain more points to gain more points.

I think it's like the Energizer Bunny; you keep going and going and going to get the most answers. Then vie for the top spots of Best Answers.
