Yes, that is very typical of conservatives.
Why? Because they are full of hatred for all that is good and decent in America.

I don't think all conservatives are racists and it's unfair to compare one person and their comments to a whole group of people.
Also in response to Skip's comments which read: "don imus is not a racist, what about his criticism of the government during Katrina, he helps black kids all the time, I watch Imus all the time he says worse than that, it is only when it is convenient for blacks to bring the race card up, they do, they are hippocrits. I would refer to them as that, they are gross, he shouldn't have apologized"
Don Imus is racist. He can't be racist on the air, but the thing with racist people is that sometimes how they look at others slips out in what they say. Remember the guy from Seinfeld.
He helps black kids all the time? Get the hell outta here. That's like a white person saying, I'm not racist, I have a black friend. You think because he helps black people, he can't be racist? I used to date a girl who was white and her dad said that he didn't mind me dating her but he would never let his daughter marry a black person. If he wasn't racist, why would he care? What's so gross about black people? You're not black and so you have no idea what it's like to be the recipient of comments like that. I don't think he should be fired, but don't blame black people for making an issue of something they find offensive to them.

Don Imus may be a racist, yet i think of we'd desire to differentiate between a malicious racist and somebody who's the sufferer of their circumstances. the ingredient approximately white people who numerous african individuals don't understand is that many human beings come from backgrounds the place that fluctuate into suited. i do no longer think of Imus meant what he suggested as an attack against the Rutger's basketball group, yet I do think of he does think of that way. He grew up in Texas during the forty's, 50's and 60's, why does not he. What the african american community desires to understand is this sort of reaction they have engaged in because has purely made real, malicious racists happier and extra energized.

Imus supported Kerry you idiot.
And I don't agree with Vato's remarks about Texas. I've been there only a couple of times and only once talked politics with a bunch of Texans but this was telling - it was 2000 during the GOP primaries and they all were willing to support W in the final election but were voting for Keyes in the primaries.

It was a very disrespectful remark.... private conversation can be just as racist as getting on national t.v. and saying something like that...his remarks are just another indication that the white supremacist mindset is still alive and well even though some would have us believe that Black people are better off today than many years ago. and actually, there are people who speak out against rappers and their disrespect of black women, so some of you need to check your facts. I am not surpised by his remarks at all. I know who and what the enemy of my people is.

Imus is a liberal
So the answer of your question would be NO.
here is a question for you. When did he refer to the color of someones skin?
Or are you saying only black people can be nappy headed ho's, which makes you a racist?

Geez, I hope not. I'm thinking he's just an a**. We shouldn't categorize all cons when one of them makes a huge screw up. But it should go both ways. Saying it's "typical of conservatives" is much like saying libs are un-American. You just can't generalize.

I have a Neo-con video that was shared to me from one of my friends that describes this dilemma. Share it with all of your friends and make sure it gets passed along. It is a classic pundit hate speech video from the right wing.
