I caught a boy shooting potato at my cat and i got soo angry, i thought they were illegal. Are they?

I don't know about the gun, but certainly it is illegal to harm animals. You should have called the cops.

I don't know if they are illegal, but shooting a cat with a potato could serverely harm the cat, or kill it. Ask a magistrate abut the charges, and if you can press them, by all means, do so. That is animal cruelity as far as I'm concerned.
