I agree entirely with the conservative mantra of "personal responsibiltiy".
But If if weren't for the labor unions of the 30's and a few leaders of liberal persuasion, chances are excellent that:
1) you & I would have no medical or retirement benefits, unemployment insurance, etc. (when unions won these, white collar workers expected the same) and ....
2) African-americans would still be unable or eat or shop anywhere but all-black stores or vote - and would still be riding in the back of buses. I am 72 years old and I remember those days.
And haven't you ever heard the rages that Lush Bimbo goes into? Perhaps you think he's entitled and liberals are not??
