Probably not - I usually look through the answers to make sure I don't repeat someone elses, and anything above 30 means two pages to look through!

40, 60, 200, it wouldn't matter. I don't even mind being the last to answer. If I have something to say I'll say it. No matter how lame that answer might seem to others. If someone doesn't want my 2cents thrown in they shouldn't ask. It's even become a matter of giving an opinion rather than a chance at best answer.

i'm more concerned about whether the question is really good. i know i'm nearly always the last to post, but for an interesting question such as this one, i don't really care that i'm way down the list. i am happy that recently i got a BA when i was about 37th on the list, so i guess the poster took time to read what everyone had submitted.

I don't look at the number of answers. I answer the ones that interest or intrigue me

actually, if I have to say something, I don't care. I would answer a q with more than 100 answers... it doesn't matter to me.
