I've always wondered because,what if it happens here where I live. And I'll be prepared.For anything.And i've always wondered too!!

- Dark, Greenish sky
- Vertical striations in the clouds
- A Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Warning ( If a storm can produce a tornado chances are it is producing large hail)

On more advanced forms of Doppler radar, hail is painted as being denser than rain or snow.

Hail is usually associated with heavy thunderstorms and it's basically impossible to predict.

I've always noticed that it wasn't too dark, the clouds were bumpy, and heavy rain.
