blackish because the hair stubble left after shaving is creating the shading? If that is the case, then buy her a series of waxings at a local estheticians office. That will take care of it and will slow the hair growth too. The first appointment may be a bit painful, cause the hair is stiff and really planted, but the next one is all baby hair, thinner and not as "established." The esthetician should have a little numbing cream she can put on before waxing and that helps.

In my case it was cause by using a very strong deodorant. I took care of it by having my armpits waxed instead of shaving and change to the Dove deodarant, less strong and still protects.
It was kind of painful at first, but with a couple of sessions they look better. Somebody said to me that if you use chamomile in a your body wash they also improve.

It depends on why they are blackish. If it's hair then wax them and if it's the skin then bleach them.

Is it you who really cares about this or your girlfriend? Maybe she's content with the way they are. I'm content with not shaving mine and my legs on occasion, and my husband still loves me and finds me sexy.
