You need to make an apt. with your doc., it would be difficult to diagnose your symptoms without being seen.

If it is happening every time after intercourse you should consult your doctor. Does it only happen after being in certain positions? If so its probably muscular. If it happens even if you are in more passive positions you may have a bigger problem. Go to your doctor or local Sexual Health Clinic as it may be infection based.

Perhaps you should've posted in Men's Health, instead of Women's Health.

Not knowing what movements you make during sex, it's hard to say if it's "overexertion" or not. If it occurs frequently and is quite painful or troublesome, I recommend you discuss it with your physician.
