makes people like more the "suicidal" type of questions more than the happy ones? Though if you ask a question like "which type of questions you like" almost everyone will choose the bright ones?
What makes me say this? The fact that I receive far more answers when I post dark questions and far more stars...

"Dark" questions make a person search deeper for an answer. Introspection seems to arouse something primal inside each of us and makes us respond to the emotion rather that the actual question.

Every time I open one of your Q's I know I'll be sitting at the keyboard for 5 minutes or more pondering it. That being said:
I do think there are those dark places in us all that we keep hidden from others, some times even from ourselves. That is until we can let them out and doing it anonymously is a way to search those places with out letting down that facade we work so hard at building up around friends and family.

People can openly express themselves happily in life. On here people need to let those other feelings out and relate... or whatever the reason.. help... attempt to help those suffering...
questions are problems of sorts.. and the best biggest questions seem to be the ones with the biggest or most interesting problems...
hmm somewhat... although complexity also changes the amount of people... stars often come with brilliance... maybe you are not inspired enough to be truly happily challenging to people. I would rather have 5 incredible answers than 75 coke / pepsi.. but its funny and interesting.. at times, to see hundreds of choice POLL questions... not answered with one word or two... when they clearly should be.
questions like.. these below make me smile often.. :)

I have no idea. I like your questions because there is usually thought put behind them and they make you think. Questions like that make people want to answer more honestly. Everyone has a sad and dark side no matter what they say :)

People have pain in their hearts that they do not consciously acknowledge. Soon they will explode with sorrow because they have tried to keep the pain inside. It is better to be full of sorrow and to display that sorrow than it is to be full of sorrow and pretend to be happy. This I know from years of being blue.

Maybe there's more depressed suicidal people who are answering your questions. Therefore they flock to those more then the happy ones. I could be wrong however. Peace!!!!!!!!

I think its bcuz as uplifting as happy questions are, the darker ones always run more deep...so more of us feel like we can relate to those feelings and so find the question more interesting.

Because people can hide behind their computers and avatars on here and therefore be more in touch with those dark places they hide all day from everyone else.

The last time I tried "walking on sunshine", I fell through it and sustained severe injuries.

On the other hand, when I tried walking on shadow...I still fell through and hurt myself, but at least I was already in the right mood for it.

Because you posted it in p&s. That's for sure you'll get more answers and stars. Or else you'll get lots of "get a life" or "are you insane" kind of answers in elsewhere.
