I got back from afghanastan and Found out my wife had been cheating on me and had moved a guy into the houes. Why in hell do I want to stay with her.

You don't partner. Think of the commitment you just made to her, me, our country. You deserve better. If she had admitted a quick fling or something like that then I would encourage you to give it a 2nd chance, but what she did indicates a permanent change in her commitment to you.
Cut your losses.

Fear of change and low self worth.
Your mental image of yourself was part of a couple or team.
You don't know how to define yourself without someone else.
You've linked you identity to a marriage.
Keeping her is trying to keep who you thought you were.
Its a pain defining who we are. It easier to follow someone else's orders than creating your own.
The stronger the people in the marriage the strong the marriage is.
By knowing who you are you will be stronger.

You want to stay with her because you know that 1) she was lonely and 2) you obviously love her. I do not condone her behaviour in the least, however I understand how she felt. My fiance too went to Afghanistan and I was hurt, in pain, and pissed that he left me for a place where he could die. I did not cheat, but it was one thing I thought of to give him 1/2 the pain he put me through for leaving me alone. If you can forgive, then do so, but only person who can move on emotionally is you.

You don't like to "lose". If you cut her loose, in your mind, he and she wins, and YOU lose. I fail to see where you "lose" in this scenario myself. If she's a cheating, only thinking of herself and her needs, type of woman, you DON"T lose. YOU WIN! You deserve better than this woman will ever give you, and you can now find a good woman that will love you, and be true to you! Move on!!

You don't , it's just that you have been through hell and she is familiar and what you know. When you digest all that has happen, you will see her for who she really is and you will be able to kick her to the curb. Good luck.....
