Why should I consider growing magnolias?

they are hardy..beautiful..reasonably disease resistant and can offer you shade and comfort they dont produce suckers and they dont choke everything out with their root systems. Im a magnolia fan...I love them.

It has been rumored that magnolias repel rabbits from garden areas. I won't agree/disagree with it.
