My boyfriend and i had unprotected sex feb 14 and my ovulation calander said that i was ovulating between the 14th and the 20th. I had a breif period march 4 - 7th and i took a pregnancy test and it said that it was negative. I had unprotected sex again in march on the 23rd and I miss my period which was due april 3rd. I took a pregnancy test and it said that i was positive. I am wondering if I got pregnant if februray or at the end of march. Can I be only 2 weeks pregnant and it show up.

The period i had in march was a day late and it was lighter than usual. I was very stessed out during that time also. I took the first pregancy test before my period came on march because i was late. It said negatitive. I didnt take another on until after i missed my period in april. I can feel the baby already.

I'm going to go with the end of march. If you had a true period in March then there is no way you were pregnant then. Most HPTs are sensitve enough to come up with a positive 5 days before your period is even due. The only way to tell for sure is to go to the doctor, he/she will be able to help you out more than we can.

If you had a period & a negative test, you got pregnant in March, not Feb. My positive test showed up 5 days before my period was even due, around 10 days past ovulation.

Talk to your doctor. They can answer that question better then anyone. It is possible you got pregnant in Feb and what you thought was a period in march wasn't. Was the period in march lighter then usual?

You should be able to tell if you're prego as soon as the first day your period should have showed up. However, it could have be too early to tell for your body. So, you could be 2 weeks prego... or 6 weeks. Only way to tell is have a doc check. If your last period (the one in early march) was MUCH shorter&lighter than normal, it could have been breakthrough bleeding. (Before my baby, I had very light 6 or7 day periods, but when I got prego, I had a 1 1/2 day period which turned out to be breakthrough bleeding)

I would say March... I am 8 weeks pregnant now. I concieved on Feb, 27 and took a HPT on March 13th with a positive result. That was 2 weeks after conception.

Yes. That is how it works. Due dates are calculated starting the day of your last period but you actually get pregnant about 2 weeks before you miss you next period. The reason they calculate them in this way is because it is very difficult to pinpoint the actual day that you became pregnant. Good luck!

Yes, some preg tests can detect the hormone one day after your missed period. Chances are you got preg in March

Yes of course. That would be the end of your cycle and that is when it would have shown up. You are actually a month pregnant, because you start counting from from the first day of your last period. Congrats!

It could be either but mroe than likely the second. A sensitive at hjoem test can detect as early as 8 days after conception.

My best bet is you are considered 4 weeks pregnant since your LMP was March 4 you count those weeks too. Good luck
