No you were worried suppose something had happened to her and you had done nothing you would be feeling pretty bad now.

Well, what do you mean, she went missing? Was she supposed to meet you somewhere and she didn't show up? Because in that case, its alright to have been concerned... You didn't do a bad thing, you wanted to make sure she was safe and if something HAD been wrong and no one had gone looking for her, then something TERRIBLE could have happened in the time it took for someone to notice she was gone... But don't jump to the worst conclusion everytime... Before going anywhere to look for her or calling other people, I would say you should try to call her on her cell or at her house... If she doesn't answer then, then text her and then just wait her out for a little bit... sometimes they just aren't at a place they can answer you... If she was supposed to meet you somewhere, then I would give it two hours before getting worried... After two hours, call her phone a few times and leave a few messages, and THEN maybe ask ONE or TWO people close to her if they know where she is... But don't get frantic... Chances are, she forgot or she had other plans she forgot about... Just take it easy, she'll appreciate you looking out for her, but it will scare her if you actually TRACK her DOWN when you don't know where she is... Hope everything is okay!! And btw, its sweet you were worried about her... Most people wouldn't be concerned so its good you were a little worried. :D

They say u should have waited more than 2 days? 2 days and she could have been dead!

What u did was absolutely right. Ok, so this time it was a false alarm and she was fine. How would u feel if next time she went missing, u took her friends advice and just left it, and it turned out nasty. U'd feel awful and so guilty!

Dont worry about it, u completely did the right thing and if i was the girl, i'd feel very lucky that i have someone who cares enough to find me! U'd make a good hero!

Remember, its always better to be safe than sorry!

If as you say she actually went missing I think you were l00% correct to be worried. Let her and your mates think what they like but if the situation had worked out for the worse these same people probably could not have lived with their guilt. However, for them to say to you that you should have left it makes you think they knew about her whereabouts and if this was the case should have told you not worry and without betraying any confidences assured yous she was safe. Don't think anymore about it, you did the right thing, and just wish we all had mates like you.

Depepds on how much drama was involved. If you simply called or asked then no problem. But if you got all dramatic then I can see where people would get annoyed.

But either way it's not really a big deal. Don't bring it up with your friends and maybe it will just blow away.

I don't see a problem unless they've had a run-in with you before, or you cause them to be insecure as a male around their little girl. But helping to look for a wayward friend is usually noble.

why did you think she went missing, i mean if you are talking 12 days i would understand, but 12 hours i dont count that as missing, especially as she was at home you are not telling us the full story so cant really comment.

No you did exactly the right thing think how you would have felt if something had happened to her and you had done nothing......... it would be nice if everyone was as considerate about their friends as you are : )
