In the subjective forum that is "style," I'd have to give my nod to Italy.
Italian style goes from the moderate Euro style of the North Italian look ... all the way to the heavy Mediterranean look of the Sicilian and Southern Italian looks. On the East side of Italy you have a touch from the Middle East and Greek styles. On the West you get the look of the Western society fashions.
It seems that, in Italy, they are a bit more free with their style. In the UK there seems to be some forward style thinking in large hubs such as London .... but over all, .... England/UK seems more reserved. It is a good look but not what the world would perhaps think of as "stylish."
Just one traveler's thoughts.
