Pipkins. Cant remember but I think it was a toyshop had Hartley Hare a freaky looking hare who was a bit nasty I think, Pig who had a brummy accent and liked cream cakes, Octavia the Ostrich who used to sing opera and Topoff the monkey. These were all puppets, Hartley and Topoff were quite scary to look at. The Herb Garden was good with the dog cant remember his name now and Mr Benn was brilliant.

I'm 13. But that doesn't stop me enjoying classics!
-The clangers are amazing. Everyone's fav. whistling puppets! I always wondered why they're planet was like the TARDIS, small on the outside and big on the inside.
-Camberwick Green. Windy Miller is an insperation to me in my dream of Stop-Motion. I base most of my styles on how he looked and moved. When the style was brought back in Episode 5 of the new series of Life On Mars I was straight to the TV set! Class. Pure class.

I remember the all action puppet show Joe 90. This was a normal kid who by wearing high tech glasses could rid the world of evil doers. Also along the puppet line Thunderbirds(who doesn't know the theme tune) and Stingray

Mr Turnip was my main favourite when i was small. It revolved around the lives of vegetables in the garden, there were Mr Turnip, Colonel Beetroot, Sally Swede and others whom i can't recall, it was about their adventures. Unfortunately as i was only 5 or 6 years old story lines didn't really worry to much about story lines.

They were no more silly than what;s on TV today!!! I think we had far more variation in those days, now it's all Tellytubbies and Tweeness. Pipkins has the be the ultimate kids show of all time, even if it was a little mad!!!

Todays programmes for children are mindless pap in comparison - Hammy Hamster was REAL!!
