my friends and i are in a dance group for an upcoming competition and we still need a lot more practice. I'm 15, Liz is 12, Jerry is almost 12, and David is almost 15. we were thinking about getting together this Friday night at our house and having a dance party/practice, then afterward, the boys (they're brothers) go home and Liz spends the night at our house. then on Saturday we are all going to Cypruss Gardens. would that be a good idea. the boys grandma and my older sister would be there to chaperone. parents of teens, what are your opinions?

I don't see a problem if the boys don't spend the night, however I would not let them spend the night if I was the parent. I also would want to be there to oversee the activities of the evening for the party

Start talking to him.. then start moving and encourage him to move with you.. then actually he starts having fun..he will enjoy it since he likes you and so...he will start dancing! But if he really doesn't want.. maybe he don't like dancing.. don't force him.. cause he will soon change his mind about you

I think that is reasonable provided the boys do not spend the night.
