Different cultures eat different foods. We all eat things that other people would find to be repulsive.

Why shouldn't they be for human consumption? What's the difference between pigs feet and the other pork products? Or other beef products? Fish isn't exactly the most glamorous of foods either, but we eat them because they are according to traditions passed down. I've eaten pigs feet, and I can honestly say that they taste just like any other fatty part on a pig.

It depends on your cultural heritage. Have you ever tried pig`s feet? They`re delicious and the sweetest part of pork. As a child I also ate tripe and tongue, both of which are fit for human consumption but I won`t eat them today. I still love beef liver though.

Sometimes that comes out of necessity. In hard times when people are close to starvation they can not waste any part of the animal because food is so scarce. What was originally eaten out of necessity becomes the norm. Any part of an animal can be consumed if properly prepared.
