Do you think it matters, or not to our Government? They were Shiites. Granted we are fighting for Iraq's freedoms. But most of these Shiites, not all, are trying to compromise Iraq's freedom. Who some are killing fellow Iraq's. What is your thoughts? I don't understand this whole Sunni vs. Shiite feud. Thanks for any input.

Neither does Poor George. That's another good reason for us not being in Iraq in the first place. It's not our place to settle their sectarian feuds. They will have to do that for themselves.

They are not protesting the war.

They are protesting the U.S. Military's overstaying their welcome.

The Shiites want a free Iraq, not one that's occupied by the U.S. forever.

No I don't think our government cares much at all... like I put in a couple of other posts, 10,000 people isn't a number to worry about, especially when the Iraq population is 26,783,383!!!
